Guest Reviews...This was our first visit to Corbières and we could not have found a better house or hosts for an introduction. Annie and Nick were attentive and thoughtful and could not have provided better suggestions - culinary, artistic, recreational and cultural. We will especially never forget the village fête and the convivial village atmosphere. This was also a writing retreat for us and the house provided the perfect atmosphere and space for daily work. That the house is so well furnished and equipped made us feel so much like at home. From daily walks from the village to regular swimming in the lac and nearby rivers, the house is perfectly situated for enjoying what the region has to offer. Overall this has been one of the best holiday and writing experiences we have ever had - thank you

A truly perfect base for re-exploring the Corbières aftera ten-year interval! The house's cool, elegant simplicity, the welcoming and helpful guidance from Nick and Annie and the edge-of-the-garrigue location combined to make this a really delightful stay.

We've had a really lovely time and enjoyed the house very much, especially evenings on the roof terrace. Great suggestions from Nicholas & Annie in the house guide and we followed and enjoyed them all - local wine tasting at Villemagne, & local restaurants, especially good at Monze, some lovely walks - the GR36 at Montlaur and also Caunettes, all the swimming spots, cycling at Trèbes & tennis at Rieux. We've also found some lovely river swimming in the gorge on the way to Termes and enjoyed the Cathar castle at Villerouge. A really lovely spot - we'd love to return - thank you!

The house is spacious, stylishly decorated and very well equipped. The terrace and upstairs kitchen in particular is a great feature. Nicholas and Annie were very helpful with their local knowledge and detailed advice on things to do. We've had a wonderful time in Taurize and would love to come back.

Un accueil très chaleureux, une maison bien equipée avec une terrasse magique pour les longues soirées d'été et une region magnifique dont nous sommes tombes amoureux.... Bref, tous les ingredients pour passer un excellent séjour. Un grand merci a Annie et Nicholas pour leur accueil, leurs conseils et leur grand chaleur humaine. This house was the perfect place to rest, write, think, study and plan my future. The region was a beautifully, authentic discovery. And the hosts were welcoming and generous and kind. I highly recommend it!!!
